Thinking of selling this truck... What's a fair price?

2006 F250 Lariat 6.0 for Sale - Fair Price?

I’ve listed it at $12,500.

  • Zero rust
  • New tires
  • Bed liner
  • Clean interior
  • 163k miles
  • Clean title
  • Leveling kit
  • Studded and deleted in 2020
  • New injector harness

It does need new glow plugs and a new power steering pump.

I haven’t gotten any interest yet. I’m in Southern Ohio – does this price seem fair?

If it’s really rust-free, that’s a solid deal. New plugs and harnesses take about an hour. I’d easily pay 12.5k for it.

Completely rust-free. I bought it in Tennessee back in 2020, and it’s been garage-kept. Appreciate the input!

Not specifically looking for a 6.0, but for what I’ve seen in the market, this seems like a more than fair price.

Honestly, that’s a great price. You might even get more since the big issues (studs and EGR delete) are already handled.

Looks like a very fair price to me.

That color reminds me of my dad’s old '06. That and the red they had for King Ranch are my favorites from that generation.

For a 6.0, you’re priced fairly, but you might end up only getting $8-10k for it.

If I were in the market, I’d buy that in a heartbeat!

I just bought a similar truck from the same year, an XL in great shape with 170k miles and minimal rust. Only aftermarket part was the tires. Paid $9,500, including shipping from South Florida to Virginia. With your trim and add-ons, I’d say $11-12k is fair. Personally, I avoid modified trucks unless I know who did the work and the truck’s history. When I see upgrades like yours, I think it’s either been pushed hard or used off-road, which could mean costly repairs down the line, especially at shop rates.

@Cary
I’ve got all the receipts and paperwork, including from the dealership in Tennessee where I bought it in March 2020. They did the bulletproofing right after I purchased it, so you’d know who handled the work. It was my daily driver for three years. Most of the ‘off-roading’ was on gravel roads, nothing extreme. Tires are brand new from Discount Tire with receipts. The only things I personally worked on were the injector harness, rear brake rotors, leveling kit, and routine maintenance. I’ve got two other vehicles now and a much longer commute, so I’m selling it because it’s just sitting. Thanks for your thoughts, I appreciate it!

Man, I wish I was in the market right now. I’d grab this in a second. Price seems very fair.

Yeah, that’s a fair price in my opinion.

For a 6.0, it’s fair, but you might only end up with $8-10k.

I’d just go by whatever Kelley Blue Book says for it.

Personally, I wouldn’t pay half that for a 6.0.
