I recently bought my first diesel vehicle, a 2022 Ford F350 Lariat with 34.5k miles on it with a 6.7L engine. I almost feel like leaving it parked at all times out of fear of something breaking after reading multiple diesel subs. If there are any recommendations on how to make it bombproof, please let me know. My goal in making modifications is not to go overboard, but rather to address all common possible problems before they become major ones. I appreciate everyone’s assistance and guidance in advance.
The 6.7 is a solid truck, but it requires regular maintenance. Eventually, something might break, so make sure to repair it. This is typical for diesel trucks. Pay attention to any codes, leaks, or unusual noises and stay on top of any issues. Enjoy your truck.
How come? What a beast the 6.7 is! You will be good to go if you install a CP4 prevention kit on it and apply gasoline additive to each fuel tank.
Maybe you should have done some research before buying the truck.
Who said I didn’t? Maybe next time, think before replying with something completely unhelpful. You don’t know anything about me or the research I have done. I am simply asking for advice from people who might know more about the topic than I do. Clearly, I’m not referring to trolls like yourself. Unlike you, I am aware I don’t know everything. But thanks for the useless response, glad you spent your time on it.
What kind of replies did you expect when you are complaining about a nearly brand-new truck?
