My first diesel, and I am loving it

I prefer buying lightly or heavily used vehicles instead of losing a lot of money on a new truck from the dealership. If you can find a low-mileage truck with a dealer warranty within your budget, I think you’ll be pleased with it. The new 6.7s are excellent trucks. Just keep in mind that if you delete it, you will likely lose the warranty.

Fortunately, there is a shop nearby that specializes in Power Strokes, and many of the trucks there have over 500,000 miles. I am aware that deleting the truck would void the warranty, which makes me wonder if it’s better to just buy a 2019 and delete it. However, I am concerned about potential big costs if something breaks. I definitely want a low-mileage truck. It’s frustrating that prices are so high now, my dad got his Lariat 6.7 for under $60,000.

From experience, I would advise against buying a 6.4L. Instead, opt for a used 7.3L, but make sure the previous owner took good care of it.

It goes without saying that my question is if it is preferable to purchase a 19 and delete or a 22 and preserve my warrantee. For example, what should I fear breaking in the absence of a warranty?
