I absolutely loved that truck.
I had just tore everything ok (egr/def tune) a month ago.
I pulled everything I could except the cp4 disaster kit and the straight pipe that connected to the manifold, it was bent.

No a deer ran from right to left. I cut right to go behind it. Unfortunately there was a 6” drop off and grass and rock. I hit the brakes and slid 5 or 6 feet before I hit the pole at roughly 45 mph

This can be a little misleading because your F250 weight is about 8k lbs and just one rail car weights is 20 times that much.
The whole train locomotive and rail cars out weigh you F250 by a whole lot and your F250 is just like a football compared to the train.
You really got lucky on this one and that it only was a glancing blow.
