2011 f350 6.7 crew cab… do I really need to spend $500 for rear body mounts?

This is my first super duty with 85,000 miles on it. I really like this truck, but repair bills are draining me. I need rear body mounts and it looks like I have to buy a full set, which isn’t cheap. Any cheaper alternatives out there?

S and B mounts are worth it in my opinion. The ride quality is so much better, and eventually, you’ll need to swap all of them anyway.

Absolutely worth it!

Totally agree with everyone here. S&B cab mounts are really solid.

Where did you get yours?

I bought mine from XDP.

Buy once, cry once. I went with S&B mounts for my 6.0 and they’ve been fantastic. Maybe try contacting them to see if they sell individual ones? Urethane mounts can be squeaky, but if that doesn’t bother you, they’ll work.

@Noor
S&B is definitely the best option. Going back to OEM will just mean more costs down the line, just like you said.

Everyone is saying it and I agree… S&B. I had doubts too, thinking ‘are these really worth it?’ but yes, they are worth every penny.

Backing up everyone’s recommendation here. I just swapped mine with S&B mounts and they are definitely worth it.

I went with Energy Suspension mounts because I’m on a budget. I can’t compare them to S&B, but they’re way better than the rotted-out stock ones and don’t squeak.

I tried ES bushings on my 6.0 since S&B would’ve taken two weeks to arrive. They were awful, felt like riding an old wagon. I ordered S&B the next day and threw out the almost-new ES ones after replacing them.

Do yourself a favor and change all of them. S&B cab bushings are worth the money and will make your ride feel better than when it was new.
