Wiper help … Anyone experienced this?

If the power is working and the wipers cycle when the switch is on, I’d say the switch is probably fine. You could try putting in a new motor and see if that fixes it. If it does, great! If not, maybe swap the switch too. Honestly, putting in a new switch wouldn’t hurt, especially with how old these trucks get.

Yeah, after 25 years and 225k miles of farming, the old girl’s seen better days. But she’s still going strong! I’m heading to NAPA in the morning for parts.

Oops, meant 25 years, not 2… my bad.

@Micah
Anyone know what the part number is for the wiper jets on these trucks?

I had the same problem, and it turned out to be the lever on the column. I replaced mine with a dorman part, and it’s been working fine since. But if you’re already opening things up, might as well replace anything that looks worn. Just make sure you don’t skimp on parts, or you’ll be back in there again.

@Marley
Yeah, I’ll just grab the parts at NAPA. Their no-questions-asked warranties are always a lifesaver.
