Saw this clean 2002 7.3 for sale. What do you guys think about the condition and price?
Looks great. Can’t say much about the price, but 7.3 trucks this clean are getting harder to find.
That’s a sweet ride. The interior is super impressive too. No surprise, being stock. Ford really nailed it with the 7.3s. If only someone could lift the emissions regulations that ended these engines. Probably just wishful thinking, though.

I don’t think they’ll ever bring it back. The 6.7 is way more powerful now. Best we can hope for is the government easing up on emissions and tuning them right instead.
Price seems fair in today’s wild market. Beautiful truck. I need one of those cupholder consoles for my '99.

Man, the market has really changed. I bought my '99 extended cab 4x4 7.3 XLT with 159k miles for $11k back in 2017.
Mine’s similar in color, though mine’s the dark tourmaline green two-tone with gray on the bottom.
Given today’s prices, your deal looks pretty solid. Super clean truck—should last a long time. Just watch the paint if it’s parked outside a lot. Mechanically, mine’s been flawless since 2017, but the roof paint is almost gone, and the clear coat on the hood is peeling badly.

Yeah, I ceramic-coated it after a good buff. Roof looks fine for now.
If I could go back, I’d have spent the extra $8k for a rust-free one. I’ve got the same color and love it, but mine’s falling apart

I paid $28k for a 2000 7.3 Excursion XLT—rust-free southern truck. Thought it was steep but talked them down from $33.5k.

I’ve seen some 7.3s listed for over $30k. It’s crazy.
Looks super clean for its age.
