What are the best exhaust manifold options for an '01 7.3 Excursion?

Consequently, the two manifolds in the back are leaking. The exhaust manifolds from Riff Raff Diesel are on backorder, but I would still like to get them. Has anyone recently replaced their leaking gaskets? It appears that this will function. But I just do DIY projects, so I could use some advice! Is there another choice, if not? I don’t want to view only used original equipment manufacturers. I would like to either reuse mine or get new ones.

Remflex 3026 gaskets are a great choice.

Dorman manifolds will work well and can be found at most parts stores or online.

The Remflex gaskets are extra thick and somewhat squishy, and I’ve never had them leak on any of the installations I have done.

Okay cool! :100: Thanks for the insight.

Ask your nearby Ford dealer for the phone numbers of other dealerships that have the manifolds in stock and can send them. Though it will cost more than riffraff, it is preferable to pulling manifolds twice. Probably worth the extra cash is your time.

The number of rusted-off bolts?

None that I can see! I must be doing well. I only started hearing the leak a few thousand miles ago, and it only has 136k on it.

  In Massachusetts, the manifold and the bolts merge into one. There is no way we can save anything until we flame them out. My 6.0 had rotting holes in the block and transmission top! Yes, the aluminum case began to leak and fully corroded through the top.

At the very least, I anticipate having to trim a couple of them. Yet, things are not too bad where I am in Washington.

I installed gaskets about 75,000 miles ago, and I have not had any issues since. Having the manifolds machined flat to eliminate any warps is an additional option, or something to do in addition to gaskets.

That is great to hear, I will probably go ahead with that unless someone persuades me otherwise. Wish me luck.
