Be careful with ether. It can strip the cylinder walls and reduce compression over time.

Totally worth it.
Use an oil pan heater and keep some treated diesel inside where it’s warm. Pour it into the fuel bowl right before starting. It’ll fire up quicker.

No, it’s been dead for a while. I live off-grid, so I don’t usually plug it in. This was after sitting outside our shop for 20 hours.

It only gets down to 30 degrees where I live, so I’ve never had to deal with anything like this.
