I’ve had these 20s on my truck for a while now, and it’s time for new tires. I currently have 35x12.50R20s, but I want to upgrade to 37s. I’m not crazy about the rims I have—they’re okay, but I don’t love them. Should I just stick with these and get the new tires, or should I go ahead and invest in a new set of rims too? What do you guys think?
I’m not a fan of those wheels personally. I switched from 20x10s on 33s to 18x9s on 35s, and I like the bigger rubber look way better. It’s also more comfortable and saves money on tires.
The older I get, the more I only want stock rims on my trucks.

I feel the same way, but stock rims are expensive when people sell them as takeoffs. These came with the truck when I bought it, but now that I’m turning this into my personal truck (using another one for work), I’m thinking of changing up the look.
Not my favorite rims, but it’s all personal preference. If you’ve got the budget for new rims and 37s, I say go for it.
I think you could find something better. These don’t really match the truck’s style.
The chrome and black wheel debate always makes me cringe. I hate chrome, but some people love it. Polished aluminum is underrated and looks great.
Get a set of newer stock rims with 37s. Stock rims always look good, or you could find aftermarket rims that resemble the stock look.
Those look like budget rims. I had a similar set, and after two years, they started flaking everywhere.

Mine aren’t too bad, but yeah, new rims are pricey.

I hear ya! I ran mine for about four years before I upgraded. Now I use those old ones for my winter tires. They’re functional but started looking rough sooner than I expected. I live in northern Canada, though, so your weather might be easier on them.
They look like something a kid would draw in art class.
I test-drove a truck with Nitto Ridge Grapplers once, and besides the terrible sound and ride, you know what I always think of when I see them? The smell of cat pee. The truck reeked of it, and now that’s all I associate them with.
