Hi I have a 2000 Ford Super Duty 250 with the 7.3 engine, Lariat trim, extra cab, and a 6’9" bed. It’s in excellent condition with some aftermarket upgrades and has 176,000 miles. Since I no longer tow and need more interior space, I am considering selling it. What’s it worth? I’ve been told this configuration is considered the holy grail of Powerstrokes.

You might be able to get around $15,000 for it, depending on how long you are willing to wait for a sale.

I have seen them for over thirty thousand and for less than ten thousand. I am so patient man.

I believe that a pre-06 diesel cannot be registered in Portland after January 2025. Thus, it could be best to act sooner. The older diesels all went to Idaho, just like in California.

There are many in Arizona where emissions regulations vary, some cities have no emissions requirements, and others exempt vehicles older than 25 years.
