I’ve noticed the price difference between used 7.3 and 6.7 models isn’t as big in my area, so that makes the decision harder.

In that case, think about resale value. If you’re planning to sell in 5-10 years, the diesel will likely hold its value better.

When you say ‘mileage,’ are you talking about fuel economy or range? If it’s range, that’s a valid concern. Gas trucks with short beds have smaller tanks, so you’ll be stopping more often on long trips.
