Watch out for fuel leaks in the engine valley and steering column issues—depends on the year, but some had problems. Otherwise, solid truck.

I’ll keep an eye on that, thanks!

@Val
You can buy a return line kit to prevent fuel leaks. Cheap and easy fix.

New to diesels—could you explain what that does?

The return lines go bad over time and cause fuel leaks in the engine valley, which also makes the truck hard to start. Best to replace them before it becomes a problem.

Right on! Thanks, man!

Check your oil every time you fill up—it’ll burn a lot.

Will do!

She’s got a slow leak, so I need to track that down too.

If it’s got oil under it, it’s got oil in it. You’ll fix one leak and another will pop up.

@Sky
Sounds about right… at least she’ll always have fresh oil! :joy:

That interior is crazy clean for a 33-year-old truck!

It’s like my house—outside looks rough, but inside is nice.

Good way to keep property taxes low and crackheads away. :laughing:

Damn, that interior is spotless. But ew, Canada.

Lol! Trust me, I feel the same way. Used to be alright, but now with inflation, Turdo, and the government’s nonsense… not so much.

The woods are still great, but the people and the gov? Not so much.

That topper has to go.

Agreed! I’m hunting for a headache rack right now.

Truck needs to work, and that topper is just in the way.

Listed it for $250—no bites yet. Might have to flip it over and turn it into a dinghy. :joy:

Under 100k miles on a 7.3 diesel?! That’s barely broken in!

She’s got plenty of life left. Also… kayak fishing is way too fun! :fishing_pole_and_fish:
