Yeah, I just wanted to see what everyone thinks.
I bought a cheap 6.4 after it failed an injector. Deleted the emissions junk, replaced the injectors, and now it’s fast as hell. Super fun truck.
The 7.3 is probably the best for reliability and cheap repairs, though. Newer diesels cost an arm and a leg when they break.

I had a 2010 6.4, and I miss it. It was hands down my favorite truck. I’ve had two 6.7s since then, but I’d still take that 6.4 back in a heartbeat.

The 7.3 is my pick. If you find one with a manual ZF6, it’s basically bulletproof. That said, the 6.7 has way better comfort and tech.

I went from a 2018 6.7 to a 2002 7.3 manual. I miss the luxury, but this old truck just keeps going.
The best Powerstroke? Easy answer—mine.
