The cartel’s 11-16 F-250 in the show had a 7.3 badge on it. That truck comes with a 6.7 from the factory. What’s up with that?
It’s actually an Excursion with a front clip swap. They stopped making them in 2005. Those only came with the 5.4 Triton, V10 Triton, 7.3, and 6.0 engines!
That 7.3 badge isn’t even made by Ford. I figured that’s what the original poster was pointing out.

People change the badges all the time to match the newer style, like the 11-16 6.7. It’s pretty common.
@Dallas
Yeah, that’s how I could tell it wasn’t a factory badge!

You can get aftermarket 6.7 badges in older engine styles, including 7.3. Those mirrors aren’t stock either—they’re GM-style mirrors, which is a weird choice for a Ford.
It’s an Excursion with a front clip swap. Apparently, it’s a custom build by someone from the cast or crew. Never noticed the Chevy mirrors on it until now. Definitely unique.
I was more distracted by the fact they put GM mirrors on it.
What caught my eye was the messed-up alignment on that Chevy the cartel was driving. The tires were getting chewed up on the inside.

I kept thinking the wheels were going to fall off every time I saw it.

I noticed that too and started yelling at the TV about it. My fiancé didn’t share my concern.
@Akira
I used to work at AutoZone and O’Reilly’s in rural Tennessee. I’ve seen so many vehicles with suspension issues like this. People mess up the geometry by modifying their trucks without understanding what they’re doing. Then they blame bad ball joints and bearings when the problem is really their setup.

My dad and I were talking about the same thing.
Landman is such a good show. I still need to finish the finale.
Great show, but those sex scenes are unnecessary. They come off as tacky.

It’s basically Billy Bob Thornton doing his Bad Santa act in an oil field.

Agreed, especially when they involve high school characters. Not cool.

The actress playing that ‘teen’ is like 30 in real life. I guess they were trying to avoid backlash, but it’s still weird.
How much did Ford pay for this show? I’ve never seen so many Fords in one place.

Go to West Texas. It’s all Fords out there.
